For example, this report has a layout grid to display the prompted From Date and To Date. When a template has multiple sections for layout grids, text boxes, tables, or any combination of these and the borders of the sections above and below the various objects are not aligned, the BI Server will merge the cells to approximate the look of the template. This setting is only applicable to reports that are created using the report generator wizard or with an uploaded RTF template which is then exported as an Excel document. Formatting > Excel 2007 Output > Keep values in the same column If a report is being run by another application such as HCM cloud through a parameterized URL, leave Auto Run enabled. As such, the Auto Run option is generally disabled on the General tab: Rather than the report query firing automatically when the page is opened, most users want to be able to make their prompt selections and click apply.
